Recipe of the Day - Cherry-Cranberry Crunch Pie

pastry for single-crust, 9-inch pie
1 can cherry pie filling
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans are my fave)
1 package instant oatmeal, maple and brown sugar flavor
2 tablespoons margarine

Roll pastry on floured surface into a 12-inch circle. Transfer pastry to an ungreased cookie sheet.
Combine cherry pie filling and cranberries in a medium bowl. Put filling in the center of the piecrust. Bring edges of pastry to the center, overlapping as needed.
In a small bowl, combine nuts and instant oatmeal. Cut in margarine to make a crumb topping. Place on top of the pie filling mixture.
Bake pie in preheated 425 degree oven until pastry is golden brown--35 to 40 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
