Poem: Operation Harmony

there exists a battle for hearts and minds
each side deploys weapons of choice
forward attack with rage and hatred
counter attack with happiness and joy
both become intertwined
cool coils of kindness entangle stark anger
diffusing gently
as darkness turns slowly to muted light
comprehension dawns, glowing with peace
one end brings new beginnings
and feelings of serendipity
