Exercise machines

We have a internal trading post where people post the items they have
for sale.
I saw this

"Nordic Track CX 925 Elliptical Machine. Less than 2 years old $475
with Delivery available. For details call x **** or 803-***-****. "

My question is "Why is this person trying to get the $$ they put into
the exercise machine?" Don't they know that all exercise equipment
depreciates faster and greated that an automobile driving off of a car
lot.

If I am paying that kind of money for a exercise machine it will be
brand new. And here is another thought. For that kind of money, if I
wanted to work on used machines, I would just join a gym.
