Dumb questions at work

A lady asked me, "Why do you keep calling products from Mexico imports?"
I said, "Because Mexico is another country. Import products come from another country into the US."
Then she said, "Mexico is not considered another country."
At that point, I stopped the conversation because I did not want to risk an aneurysm.
