Recipe of the Day: Apple Cranberry Pie

Ingredients
3 pounds your choice baking apples (cored, peeled, and cut into wedges)
1 cup dried cranberries
2 pie crusts (you can make your own if you are feeling so inclined)
1/2 c white sugar
1/4 c dark brown sugar
3 tbsp all purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 salt
pinch of nutmeg
Juice of one lemon
Directions: Heat oven to 425 degrees. Toss apples and craberries in lemon juice. Mix sugars, flour, salt, and spices. Mix with apples and let that chill out for a few (about 10-15 minutes). Pour all that apple cranberry goodness into one of the pie crusts. Use the other pie crust to top. Cut slits into the top pie crust and sprinkle sugar (I use raw sugar for an extra sugary crunch). Bake for 45-60 minutes. Let cool and enjoy.
